Although this year was challenging, I learned a great deal about the process when taking on a project. Through many meetings with Facilities, Development and my mentors, I was able to learn about the breakdown of the project. This included creating many presentations with visual components, design, budget, plans for future and more! Some of the challenges that I faced were frustration and having to get many components of my project approved. Also, during the winter there was not much I could do to the space since it was outdoors. Hopefully, next year I can hit the ground running and get as many aspects in the design as possible. The proudest moment of this project would most definitely include my final presentation and seeing some of the girls use the space! Everyday I always see someone relaxing in the hammock and it makes me so happy that my hard work paid off, and I am excited to see how much more the space will be used next year. By the end of senior my hope is to complete the space and have it fully open for the community to use. In my presentation I wish I included more of these plans for next year so the audience could see a little more about what my future plans are because I did not go in detail.
